Use your GP surgery’s repeat prescription process or the NHS App if it is available to you. The prescriber must approve the request before the pharmacy can dispense it. Allow the time advised by your surgery and pharmacy.

Contact your GP or pharmacy promptly. When the pharmacy is closed, NHS 111 can advise about urgent medicine needs. An emergency supply depends on assessment and cannot be guaranteed.
